Investment Objective

The portfolio seeks to track the performance of a benchmark index that measures the investment return of stocks issued by companies located in developed and emerging markets, excluding the United States.

Investment Strategy

The portfolio invests 100% of its assets in Vanguard Total International Stock Index Fund, which employs an indexing approach designed to track the performance of the FTSE Global All Cap ex US Index, a free-float-adjusted market-capitalization-weighted index designed to measure equity market performance of companies located in developed and emerging markets, excluding the United States. The Index includes approximately 7,284 stocks of companies located in 48 markets. As of October 31, 2020, the largest markets covered in the Index were Japan, China, the United Kingdom, Canada, Switzerland, and France (which made up approximately 17.2%, 12.3%, 8.8%, 6.4%, 5.9%, and 5.8%, respectively, of the Index's market capitalization).The fund invests all, or substantially all, of its assets in the common stocks included in its target index.

The Portfolio primarily is subject to stock market risk, country/regional risk, currency risk, emerging markets risk, and investment style risk. The Portfolio also has low levels of derivatives risk.

When you invest in MOST—Missouri's 529 Education Plan (the "Plan"), you are purchasing portfolio units issued by the Program Trust. Portfolio units are municipal securities. The Plan has been implemented and is administered by the Missouri Education Program Board (the "Board"). Ascensus College Savings Recordkeeping Services, LLC, serves as the Program Manager and Recordkeeping and Servicing Agent, and together with its affiliates, has overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Plan, including administrative services and marketing. The Vanguard Group, Inc., serves as Investment Manager for the Plan. The Plan's portfolios, although they invest in mutual funds, are not mutual funds.
